Christopher Aamold
Co-founder & CEO16 years across billion-dollar telecom and startups. Led one of Texas’s largest data transformation programs. Co-founded Media Driver, a firm known for supporting the largest Apache ActiveMQ implementations in production, and pivoted it from consulting services to product — the foundation that became HYTE Technologies.
Matt Pavlovich
Co-founder & CTO20+ years in open source. Apache ActiveMQ PMC member. Led the JMS 2.0 / 3.1 specifications, the Jakarta EE migration, and major observability and modernization initiatives. Hands-on technical lead on the largest known ActiveMQ deployments worldwide — the kind of production scale where messaging actually has to work.
Jonathan Locke
Co-founder & Principal EngineerWorked on Windows at Microsoft and Java at Sun Microsystems. Originator of two top-level Apache projects, including Apache Wicket. Deep expertise in distributed systems, software reusability, and developer experience. Co-founded multiple startups and is a published technical author. The kind of engineer who has built the abstractions other engineers build on.
Miko Matsumura
Co-founder & Advisor25+ years in developer platforms. Sun Microsystems’ first Chief Java Evangelist — championed the first wave of open-source adoption. Has raised $50M+ in venture capital for developer-platform companies including Gradle and Hazelcast. Yale MSc in neuroscience, where he researched computational neural networks.
